Pikes Peak Gallery
The Pikes Peak Gallery is a photographic collection to inspire those whose hearts get "jerked and pulled" frequently from gazing at this mountain. For those who live outside the Colorado Springs area, perhaps this site will be a way to get "Pikes Peak fix" now and then. Indeed, Pikes Peak is a mountain worthy of admiration! Please visit the Pikes Peak Discussion Forum with questions or comments you may have about the Pikes Peak region. Enjoy the gallery! |
Crystal Creek Reservoir
In November 2007, I drove on the Pikes Peak Highway and captured this view of
Crystal Creek Reservoir along the lower portion of the road. The general view faced south,
which makes the lighting difficult during the middle of the day. If you're interested, you can view all of my
photos from the scenic drive to the top of Pikes Peak here:

Pikes Peak - View From Briargate YMCA
Rick Van Wieren is a fan of this web site and submitted this photo above of Pikes Peak as seen from the grounds of the Briargate YMCA in the northeast section of Colorado Springs. Rick is an experienced Colorado Springs real estate agent who has quite a knack for taking photos that provide the perspective of Pikes Peak in local residential neighborhoods. Friends Lisa and Lars - Near Victor, Colorado
Here's a photo provided by "Kansas Kelly" - a friend in the Kansas City area who frequently visits Colorado. She snapped this beautiful photo of mutual friends Lisa and Lars at an overlook near Victor. -Steve (September 6, 2007) Pikes Peak's North Face - Woodland Park, Colorado
Kirk Starks in Texas visits the Pikes Peak region on an annual basis. He took this photo of Pikes Peak from Woodland Park, Colorado in May 2007. High Point In Garden Of The Gods
I spent last weekend in Colorado Springs for one business matter, but the highlight was spending time with my many friends in the Pikes Peak region. Some of the highlights included dining with friends at Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant, hiking the Mt. Cutler Trail, visiting the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and relaxing at Its A Grind Coffee House. As I was leaving town on Sunday morning enroute to Buena Vista, I briefly stopped by High Point inside Garden of the Gods Park to snap this view of Pikes Peak. It's a great photo, isn't it? :) -Steve (March 15, 2007) The View From Wilkerson Pass
While on my way to meet with friends in Victor, I pulled over into the parking lot of the Wilkerson Pass Visitor Center. Here is the very scenic view of Pikes Peak from this vantage point. -Steve (December 11, 2006) Pikes Peak In All Her Glory
Last week, I was on the trail that connects Waldo Canyon and Williams Canyon and zoomed-in on Pikes Peak. I think it is a very pretty shot! :) -Steve (December 4, 2006) Manitou Springs, Colorado
