Great Views At Garden Of The Gods
Garden of the Gods is a really good place to photograph Pikes Peak's eastern face, as it has many beatiful pinion-covered hills with unobstructed views of the peak. In general, morning is the best time of day with sunlight coming from the east.
In the photo above, I was standing near a clearing at the "Siamese Twins" rock formation, a lesser visited area of Garden of the Gods. You can see more of my photos of the Siamese Twins area here: Siamese Twins at Garden of the Gods.
