North End Of Colorado Springs
In May 2005, my friend and I bicycled round trip from Manitou Springs to Denver on a Saturday and Sunday of a weekend. Near the end of the ride as we returned to the Pikes Peak region, I hit two patches of sand along Highway 85 across from the Walmart and crashed off my bike right there on the pavement. I walked away with minimal scratches and a flat tire thankfully!
Anyway, it was while I was recovering and sitting on the edge of the road, that I decided to snap this photo of Pikes Peak. :)
